DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIITES
- Ensure the daily maintenance of pools and hot tubs, chemical balancing, vacuuming, brushing, backwashing, filter and pump maintenance.
- Perform pool and hot tub service and repairs.
- Water testing and record keeping.
- Maintain records of the type and the frequency of service requests.
- Work with and assist the Maintenance Management as required
- Provide support in firewood delivery and snow removal as required
- Other duties that may be required to make Vettä successful
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL
- Knowledge of pool operations, pool chemistry, pump, and filter maintenance.
- Previous experience within a maintenance department an asset.
- Certified Pool Operator certificate required or willing to obtain.
- Previous experience with small hand tools (manual and electric).
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Experience in working in a spa environment an asset.
- Required to work a rotating schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- First Aid Certificate/ CPR an asset.
- Work within all health and safety procedures
- CSA Safety Shoes required for the job

WORKING CONDITIONS
- Required to work outside in varying temperatures (summer and winter)
- Required to lift up to 50Lb
- Unload skids of pool items from the loading bay to the pump room
- Able to work in a quick-paced environment,
- Comfortable walking and standing, bending, kneeling and repetitive motion over an 8-hour period of time.
