Pool & Spa Service Technician
Looking for a hands-on career where you’re not stuck doing the same thing every day?
Paradise LeisureScapes is looking for motivated, dependable individuals to join our Pool & Spa Service Team.
If you enjoy working outdoors, using your hands, solving problems, and seeing the results of your work at the end of the day, this could be a great fit. Previous pool and spa experience is not required — we are willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn.
This isn't your typical 9-to-5 desk job. Every day brings something different. You could be opening a pool one morning, troubleshooting equipment in the afternoon, completing plumbing repairs, replacing pumps and heaters, or helping a customer get their backyard ready for summer.
What You'll Be Doing
- Opening and closing swimming pools and spas
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing pool and spa equipment
- Completing basic plumbing repairs and installations
- Replacing pumps, filters, heaters, and other equipment
- Performing general service and preventative maintenance
- Identifying equipment that may require repair, replacement, or upgrading
- Maintaining a clean and organized company vehicle and work area
- Communicating with customers and providing excellent customer service
- Learning recent skills and developing your knowledge of the pool and spa industry
What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who:
- Enjoys hands-on, physical work
- Is comfortable working outdoors
- Has experience using basic hand and power tools
- Has strong problem-solving skills
- Is dependable and takes pride in their work
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Is comfortable communicating with customers
- Is willing to learn and take on additional responsibility as they gain experience
Experience with plumbing, construction, mechanical equipment, HVAC, electrical, landscaping, or other skilled trades is considered an asset, but we encourage mechanically inclined applicants from all backgrounds to apply.
