We're looking to fill an opening for a Portfolio Administrator to join our Asset Management team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, MAP Trading, the Portfolio Administrator is responsible for the daily portfolio administration of Credential's Separately Managed Account (SMA) programs and support of other investment management solutions.
Manage client and inventory accounts on the Portfolio Management & Custodial systems and resolving any data discrepancies Execute discretionary trades as outlined on the Investment Policy Statement and agreements Assist with monthly fee-billing Generate quarterly investment reports and supervision reports Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to manage client accounts Maintain Aviso’s investment materials such as fact sheets, performance sheets and quarterly reports Assist Portfolio Managers with investment proposals and presentations Support Aviso’s Investment Strategy Committee with market research, analysis, and presentations Working towards CFA (at least level I) ~ 3+ years’ experience in the investment industry ~ Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Representative within 30 days ~ Working experience with Portfolio Management software, Bloomberg or Morningstar preferred ~ Demonstrated experience and thorough understanding of investment concepts, analytics and investment administration market research, product development and sales would be beneficial ~ Intermediate level of knowledge with MS Office Suite programs and advanced level of Excel knowledge. ~ Knowledge of and experience with CGI Wealth360 and Dataphile is an asset ~ Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset Excellent health, dental and insurance advantages to meet the diverse needs of our employees Generous vacation time, fitness benefit,
