Postdoc Opportunity at Mila

I'm looking for a Postdoctoral Fellow to join my research group in collaboration with a well-funded science- and research-focused startup operating in the Bay Area and Montreal.

Research themes

- Deep Representation Learning
- Out-of-Distribution Generalization
- Analogical Reasoning for Deep Learning
- Few-Shot Transfer Learning

Research goal How can we transfer knowledge from an existing distribution to a new one using only a handful of examples? We're interested in learning representations and transfer mechanisms that enable robust adaptation with minimal data.

The project is still being shaped, making this a great opportunity to help define the research direction from the ground up.

While the position is primarily aimed at postdoctoral researchers, PhD or Master's candidates who are an exceptionally good fit may also be considered.
