Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and current health status, utilizing medical terminology accurately.
- Administer medications safely and effectively according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document all patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes meticulously within electronic health record systems.
- Collect and analyze clinical data to monitor patient progress and inform treatment adjustments.
- Provide specialized care in areas such as pain management, pediatrics,
or acute care settings.
- Support patients with home care needs by educating them on medication use, self-care techniques, and follow-up procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in hospital or acute care settings with a strong understanding of medical terminology.
- Prior experience in research or clinical studies is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver patient-centered care with empathy and professionalism.
- Knowledge of electronic health records systems such as Epic or Cerner is highly preferred.
- Experience in medication administration, pain management, and pediatric care is desirable.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams and patients.
- Ability to collect accurate clinical data and maintain detailed documentation.
- Previous work in home care environments is a plus.
