Role Description The Process Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. This role is responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing manufacturing and assembly processes for Accuenergy’s products to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
Day-to-day tasks include reviewing process requirements, developing and updating process documentation, implementing process controls, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as engineering, production, and quality assurance.
The Process
Engineer will monitor process performance using data and metrics, troubleshoot issues, propose improvements,
and support the introduction of new products and technologies into production. The role also involves coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure processes meet regulatory, customer, and company standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess solid Process Engineering and Chemical Engineering knowledge, with experience applying these disciplines in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Candidates should possess skills in Process Design and Process Control to develop, implement, and maintain efficient and stable production processes.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify root causes, and recommend practical process improvements.
- Relevant experience with electrical or energy-related products, sensors, or industrial control systems is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Process, Mechanical, Industrial, or related field) or equivalent professional experience.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement methodologies, and quality management systems is an asset.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and on-site production environments.
- Proficiency with engineering and data analysis tools (e.g., CAD, process simulation, spreadsheets, or statistical software) is advantageous.
