Candidates should have at least 3-5 years of progressive procurement experience in manufacturing, showcasing a solid capability in MRP/ERP systems. You will lead supplier negotiations and drive strategic sourcing decisions to ensure on-time delivery of parts. Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate and manage direct material purchasing agreements
- Collaborate with supply planning and production teams
- Build and sustain relationships with key suppliers
- Implement cost management and reduction strategies
- Optimize MRP data for inventory control
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in supply chain or business
- 3-5 years of relevant procurement experience
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems is critical
- Knowledge of engineering drawings and production processes
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
