About the Role

We are seeking an experienced full-time Procurement Manager to oversee purchasing, inventory management, supplier relationships, logistics, and yard operations. The successful candidate will ensure materials and equipment are procured efficiently while assisting with receiving shipments, handling materials, packing and wrapping skids, operating equipment, and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized yard.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the procurement process for materials, equipment, parts, tools, and services.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers.
- Create and manage purchase orders and monitor order status.
- Maintain inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment.
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships.
- Coordinate logistics and shipping arrangements.
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments.
- Manually handle materials, equipment, and supplies as required.
- Pack, secure, and wrap skids for transportation and storage.




- Load and unload trucks and trailers safely and efficiently using appropriate equipment and material-handling procedures.
- Operate forklifts and other applicable equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure yard, warehouse, and storage areas remain clean and organized.
- Monitor yard inventory and material storage.
- Maintain accurate procurement and inventory records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.

Qualifications

- Experience in procurement, purchasing, inventory management, or supply chain operations within the industrial, mining, construction, drilling, or related industries is an asset.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/inventory systems.
- Valid driver's license.
- Forklift certification is an asset.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform manual labour.
