About Us:

Huyck provides manufacturing companies with a wide range of Industrial Supplies and specializes in coatings. We are looking to fill two full-time positions in our Powder Coating Department. The Powder Coating Department is a manually operated production line that requires team members to be physically fit and to enjoy being busy.

Role/Qualifications:

As the Hanging Lead, you will work in the Hanging station as follows:

- Accurately read production orders and match products to paperwork.
- Review photos and instructions to determine proper hanging methods.
- Lead and guide the hanging team while working hands-on alongside them.
- Select the correct hooks, jigs and hanging points for each product.
- Ensure products are hung safely and correctly for quality coating.
- Hanging material onto overhead bars, pushing /pulling bars in and out of oven(s) and coating booth(s)




- Be able to push and pull heavy metal profiles on manual transfer load bar system
- Be physically fit, able to be active on the job and lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
- Be able to complete work orders accurately, capable of speaking, reading and writing English
- Strong spoken and written English skills.
- Have excellent attention to detail - frequent quality checks are a must
- Have excellent attendance – this position is 36-40 hours per week.
- Monday through Thursday from 7:00am - 4:30pm (Fridays Off!)
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada and reside in the Lower Mainland
