We manufacture insulated glass units (IGUs) for residential and commercial window and door manufacturers. We are a growing shop that takes pride in quality work, and we are looking for a dependable labourer to join our production team.
What You'll Do
Your day is split into two parts:
Mornings – Shipping & Packing
- Pack finished insulated glass units into racks and crates for shipment
- Verify unit sizes and quantities against order paperwork before shipping
- Clean units carefully and stage orders for delivery
- Load trucks and keep the shipping area clean and organized
Afternoons – Manual Gunning
- Apply secondary sealant to insulated glass units by hand using a sealant gun
- Check units for gaps, voids, and clean edges before they move on
- Keep your station and equipment clean and stocked
What We're Looking For
- Punctual and reliable — you show up on time, every day
- Organized and detail oriented — you catch mistakes before they leave the building
- Hard working and comfortable on your feet for a full shift
- Able to lift up to [50] lbs and handle glass carefully
- Able to read and follow written work orders in English
- Interested in growing with our company and learning new skills
We will train the right person. Experience in glass, window manufacturing, warehouse, or general production is an asset.
