Packaging Team Lead The Packaging Team Lead is responsible for supporting the day-to-day flow of materials, inventory and packaging for wood and metal production. This position coordinates receiving and shipping activities, maintains accurate inventory and production records, ensures packaging materials and supplies are available, and supports container and tradeshow preparation.

The role also involves providing administrative support and back up for Shipping.

Key Responsibilities

· Receive, organize, label, and track incoming materials, shipments, returns, and inventory.

· Monitor open orders, coordinate packaging requirements and schedules, and track daily production.

· Manage container paperwork, counts, hardware, and preparation of products for shipment and tradeshows.

· Maintain production, rework, waste diversion, timekeeping, and other required records.

· Assist with daily plant operations, housekeeping, waste collection, and ensure the facility is set up and prepared for the workday.

· Provide back-up support to Production, Purchasing and other departments as required.

Qualifications

- Prior experience in a manufacturing, metal, or wood shop environment is required.
- Competence using Microsoft Suite programs.
- Ability to learn multiple production processes and adapt quickly.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tools.




- Ability to read basic measurements and follow written or verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Physical Requirements · Ability to lift 50 pounds repetitively.

- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and machinery.
