About the role
Most cleaners are good at the job and worn out by everything around it. Posting on Facebook, texting people back, quoting, driving out to look at a house for free, waiting on money.
That's our end of it. We're a residential cleaning company with a client base that's already booked and already paying, and we're hiring experienced cleaners to take that work. We're not short on clients. We're short on people we trust to walk into a home.
How this works
We find the client, price the job, put it on your schedule, collect the payment, and pay you. You show up and clean. If a client is unhappy or difficult, they call us — that's not your problem to sort out.
You're an independent contractor here, running your own operation. Your vehicle, your equipment, your insurance, your name on the work. We're the pipeline that keeps it full.
Pay
You're paid per clean, not by the hour. Work clean and work smart and that's money in your pocket, not a reason to hand you another house for the same pay. Tips go straight to you — we don't touch them.
The work repeats. Recurring clients on a set rotation, same homes and same people every visit, so you're not starting from zero every month.
Schedule
Submitting your availability is part of the job, not an option. Before you start, you give us the days and hours you can work and the area you'll cover, and we fill those slots with jobs. We can't sell a client a Tuesday if we don't know who's working Tuesday.
Your schedule holds until you change it, and changes go through us with notice, not the day of. More availability means more work. Less means less. But the availability has to be on file, and the jobs we put in it are yours to complete.
What you'll be doing
- Full residential cleans — kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living and dining areas
- Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, wiping down surfaces and fixtures
- Sanitizing bathrooms and kitchens properly, not just wiping them
- Trash out, and leaving the home the way somebody would want to walk into it
- A quick walkthrough with the client before you start so you both know what's expected, and a check at the end before you leave
- Letting us know prior to starting if something came up — a client added rooms, the house was in worse shape than booked, something got damaged, anything that affects the invoice or the next visit
Types of work available Recurring residential is the bulk of it — weekly, every other week, monthly. We also have move-in and move-out cleans, deep cleans. rental turnovers, post-construction, and staged homes.
What you need
- Two years of paid residential cleaning experience, minimum
- Your own reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license
- Your own cleaning supplies and equipment, including a vacuum
- A smartphone — scheduling and job details come through your phone
- General liability insurance for cleaning, or willing to get covered
- Can pass a background check
Helps, but not required
- Commercial or janitorial experience
Who this isn't for If you need reminders to show up, cancel the morning of, or stop when the visible parts look done, this won't work out. Our clients pay above the going rate, and they notice — the corners, the baseboards, the shower door, the top of the fridge. That standard is the reason the work keeps coming, and it's the one thing we don't bend on.
Why cleaners stay
Steady, repeating work. Money that shows up. Nobody standing over you. And when a client is unreasonable, we handle it instead of asking you to eat it. Our cleaners stay with us for years, and that's the reason.
