Overview
Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Administrator and become a vital part of delivering high-quality projects on time and within scope! In this energetic role, you will coordinate project documentation, manage schedules, and support field teams to ensure seamless communication and efficient operations. Duties
- Prepare, review, and manage project documentation including schedules, contracts, RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and change orders using construction management software such as ProCore
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to facilitate accurate project execution.
- Coordinate with project teams to track progress, update schedules, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Assist in cost estimation processes by supporting construction estimating activities and reviewing bid packages.
- Utilize Bluebeam for document review, markup, and collaboration on design drawings.
- Support field teams by organizing procurement of materials, tracking deliveries, and managing project logs.
- Communicate effectively with subcontractors, vendors, clients,
and internal teams to streamline project workflows and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain detailed records of project activities, change orders, RFIs, and correspondence to ensure transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
Skills
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Proficiency with construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and other relevant tools.
- Experience with construction estimating techniques to support budgeting processes.
- Familiarity with Civil 3D for civil engineering design review and site planning.
- Knowledge of schematics related to electrical or mechanical systems within construction projects.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in fast-paced environments.
- Solid understanding of construction processes combined with practical construction experience for better coordination.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating across diverse teams including contractors, engineers, and clients.
