Position summary:
The Project Manager – Nuclear is responsible for leading and coordinating complex nuclear projects from initial customer request through quotation, production, delivery, and post-order support. This role requires strong technical aptitude, sound project management skills, and the ability to interpret customer specifications, drawings, and quality requirements to deliver compliant flow-control solutions for nuclear power applications. Working closely with internal teams, suppliers, and customers, the Project Manager ensures project deliverables are completed accurately, professionally, and on schedule while maintaining a high standard of communication, documentation, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage high-profile nuclear projects from customer RFQ through quotation, documentation, production coordination, delivery, and post-order support.
- Review customer specifications, technical requirements, drawings, valve lists, and project documentation to determine scope, compliance requirements, and appropriate product selection.
- Select, size, and price appropriate Ritepro, Bray, and related flow-control products for nuclear power applications, ensuring alignment with customer specifications and applicable standards.
- Prepare accurate, professional technical and commercial bids, including pricing, lead times, exceptions, clarifications, and required supporting documentation.
- Coordinate closely with engineering, quality, production, procurement, sales, suppliers, and customers to deliver engineered solutions that meet technical, quality, schedule, and commercial requirements.
- Support nuclear documentation requirements, including vendor documentation packages, inspection and test plans, drawings, procedures, material documentation, quality records, and project history files as required.
- Apply working knowledge of applicable industry standards and nuclear quality requirements, including ASME, CSA, ANSI, and related customer-specific requirements.
- Serve as primary customer contact for assigned projects, maintaining clear, timely, and professional communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor project milestones, priorities, risks, and deliverables to ensure commitments are met on time and escalations are addressed proactively.
- Manage multiple complex projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.
- Demonstrate strong technical aptitude, sound judgment, customer focus, and the ability to translate complex requirements into practical, compliant project solutions.
- Use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, and applicable business systems to prepare quotations, maintain records, track project activity, and support customer deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Mechanical, Chemical & Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent
- 5-7 years of similar working experience
- Prior relevant work experience in Flow Control Industry of Nuclear Power Industry will be advantageous
- Matured and independent with a good sense of judgement
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Have a strong sense of urgency, good follow-up and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and a solid team player
