Previous purchasing, procurement, inventory, or supply chain experience is considered an asset, but we are also open to junior candidates who bring strong organization, reliability, and a willingness to develop in the role.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage inventory and stock items in line with established minimum and maximum levels.

· Monitor stock availability, investigate discrepancies, and support accurate inventory records.

· Prepare and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders accurately and on time.

· Identify, evaluate, and source suppliers based on price, quality, availability, and delivery requirements.

· Build and maintain productive relationships with existing and prospective suppliers.

· Negotiate pricing and terms with integrity while supporting cost-effective purchasing decisions.

· Coordinate with suppliers to expedite orders and help ensure on-time delivery.

· Manage inventory returns and resolve order, shipment, or supplier issues.

· Collaborate with internal departments to understand requirements and deliver responsive service.

Qualifications

· Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, or a related field is preferred; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

· Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; candidates with at least one year of relevant experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or a related field are also encouraged to apply.

· Demonstrated knowledge of sourcing, vendor selection, pricing, negotiation, purchase orders, and order management.

· Experience managing supplier relationships and working with internal departments.

· Working knowledge of inventory management, stock levels, demand planning, and procurement requirements.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.

Assets

· Experience in industrial supply, manufacturing, construction, or a related distribution environment.

· Experience using SAP or another ERP or purchasing system.
