Job Details:

*Start Date: Immediately

*Qualified, full time early childhood educator to work 9 out of 10 days, with 1 day off every 2 weeks (certain conditions apply)

- Will work with another educator in a group of 16 children (combined group)
- Age group: 18 months–2 years (approx.)
- Work hours: 9:15 a.m.–6:00 p.m. with a 45-minute lunch break (schedule may be adjusted based on the needs and schedules of families and

Responsibilities.

- Plan and implement an educational program, after regularly observing all areas of the children’s development and interests
- Complete the “Child Development Portrait” for 8 children in their group twice a year and organize parent meetings as needed.
- will clean and disinfect toys, bins, and shelves in the classroom for 30 minutes per week (included in working hours)
- Will attend staff and parent meetings

Additional details:

- We use the salary scale recommended by the MFA.
- 3-month probationary period.




- After 3 months of full-time work, the Educator will be enrolled in a group insurance plan and will contribute to it (the amount of the contribution depends on the individual’s salary and the plan selected by the Educator)
- After 550 hours of work, the educator will contribute to the Pension Plan for Staff of CPEs and Private Licensed Daycare Centers in Quebec. (The amount of the contribution depends on the educator’s individual salary.)
- 4 sick/personal days per fiscal year (certain conditions apply)

Qualifications:

- DEC or AEC/Certificate with 3 years of experience (Early Childhood Education)

Pay: From $25.78 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
