The successful Quality Assurance Co-op Student will learn about quality issues, assist in manufacturing changes, and will be taught the importance of how design affects and is affected by the manufacturing sector. The student will develop an understanding to how the Tigercat machines work and how to make decisions in order to get the machines out the door. This is a great way to diversify your co-op portfolio, and gain valuable experience related to how to test the quality of the products, and how it directly affects other departments and working with various teams including engineering, production and purchasing teams to resolve quality issues.

Responsibilities may include:
- Assist in processing changes, trouble shoot quality issues, contribute in developing solutions
- Application of GD&T; systems
- Detail drawing and bill of material creation and maintenance
- Coordination of related processing changes with the manufacturing team
Field testing of vehicle systems
- Work with vendors
- Utilize systems, such as CMS, AX, Solidworks, and Tigercat's internal storage system
Skills and Experience:
- Pursuing a Mechanical Engineering Design Technologist diploma or Bachelor's degree program, eligible for CET or P.Eng.
- Experience or a strong desire to be involved in machine design and component detailing
- Familiarity with 3D modeling (SolidWorks)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate in a language used in the areas of the world where Tigercat machines operate is a strong asset
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to taking on challenging technical tasks
- Ability to quickly comprehend new concepts, processes and systems

- Wages will vary ($26 - $29 per hour), and commensurate with the number of years of your program that you have completed
- Please specify which location(s) you are willing to work in - Brantford, Paris, Cambridge, Kitchener
- Accepting 3rd and 4th year students
- Please note there are no remote or hybrid co-op positions available
- Mandatory cover letter, resume, and current transcript required
- The Paris location is NOT accessible by public transportation. You must provide your own transportation to and from the work site each day.
