About The Role Our client is looking for a diligent and meticulous Quality Control Inspector to join their manufacturing team in Gatineau, Quebec . This role is essential for maintaining the high standards of product quality that our client is known for.
You will be responsible for inspecting raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet rigorous specifications and compliance standards. The ideal candidate possesses a keen eye for detail and a commitment to upholding product integrity in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products using various measurement tools and testing equipment. Document inspection results accurately, identifying and reporting any deviations from quality standards. Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Ensure all quality control activities comply with industry regulations and company quality management systems.
Participate in internal audits and provide feedback for process improvement. Maintain calibration records for all inspection and testing equipment.
Requirements Previous experience as a Quality Control Inspector in a manufacturing environment is required. Proficiency with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Strong understanding of quality control principles and statistical process control (SPC). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken, is beneficial.
