We’re currently looking for a sharp, dependable QC Technician / Inspector to join our team on the afternoon shift and help ensure every part that leaves our floor meets the highest quality standards.

About the Role

As a QC Technician, you’ll be on the front lines of quality control — monitoring, measuring, and verifying parts as they move through production. You’ll perform in-process and first-off inspections, enter data into the ERP system, and act as the eyes and ears of the QA team on the floor. You’ll play a critical role in catching issues early and ensuring only conforming parts move forward.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct random and scheduled in-process inspections across all machines on shift
- Perform some first article inspections under QA Technician guidance
- Complete and submit IPC (In-Process Control) inspection reports via ERP system
- Determine whether parts can proceed to the next operation, be quarantined, or require escalation
- Use calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and digital tools (including CMM or electronic gauges when pre-programmed)
- Identify, tag, and report non-conforming product in line with NCR procedures
- Perform cosmetic inspections for surface finish, burrs, and other visual defects
- Assist with gage maintenance and calibration tracking
- Carry out quality tasks assigned by the QA Coordinator

What You Bring





- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing and machining quality control
- Relevant QA/QC or Machining College Program Completion an Asset.
- Proficient with standard measurement tools and confident in interpreting technical drawings
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 or similar quality systems
- Familiarity with ERP-based inspection logging (ProShop experience is a plus)
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and confident in making decisions about part quality
- Comfortable working on the shop floor and communicating with production staff
