Waterloo Infant Toddler Daycare Association is looking for RECE Educators to work for our small multi site organization to cover a 12 month floater/support RECE position, potential for permanent position. This position is a 8 hour, 5 days a week position where the candidate will work in different classrooms.

Candidates need to have experience working with young children ages 3 months to 5 years. We are looking for candidates with experience in emergent curriculum and knowledge of How Does Learning Happen.

Applicants should be energetic, versatile, hard working and possess strong leadership skills to work as a team setting with an expanding organization. Applicants must be flexible in working with any age group in any of WITDA’s locations as well as with a diverse group of children and educators.

Health and dental benefits are available, 75% of premiums paid by the center, mental health benefits available for the employee and their immediate family. (Certain conditions apply). Two-week vacation to start and ten paid personal/sick days. (Pro rated at start date.)

Job Requirements:



A valid Vulnerable Sector Check, and must have College of Early Childhood Educator that is in good standing, Standard First Aid and CPR, updated Health and Safety training, WHMIS certificate and all public health immunization requirements.

Position to start as soon as possible. Hours are 40 hours a week. This is a replacement position. This position is a 8 hours per day for 5 days a week where your shift can vary each day between 7:30 and 5:30.

The salary range is from $58,000 to $62,400 depending on years of experience in the field of RECE. The salary includes all government grants.
