We are seeking a passionate and energetic Recreational Gymnastics Coach to join our community-focused sports and fitness facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for instructing children in gymnastics and related physical activities, fostering a safe and engaging environment that promotes physical development, confidence, and fun. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with youth, develop coaching skills, and contribute to their growth through sport and movement.
Duties
- Lead and instruct children in recreational gymnastics classes, ensuring proper technique and safety protocols are followed
- Monitor participants’ progress and provide positive feedback to encourage improvement
- Enforce behavior management strategies to maintain a safe, respectful, and fun workplace
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth class operations and participant safety
- Promote a positive attitude towards physical activity and healthy living among participants
- Maintain equipment safety checks and report any maintenance needs
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in sports coaching, teaching physical education, or childcare settings is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to motivate children, foster teamwork, and ensure safety during physical activities is essential
