HomeStretch Active Living is looking for a Registered Kinesiologist who can work directly with older adults in their homes while taking the lead on building our Hamilton-area territory.
Responsibilities include:
- Following up with local leads and providing in-home kinesiology services
- Conducting in-home strength, balance and mobility assessments
- Designing personalized exercise programs for seniors
- Delivering one-on-one personal training and active-rehabilitation sessions
- Supporting fall prevention, mobility and post-surgical recovery
- Leading classes, Brain & Balance programs and educational workshops
- Building relationships with retirement residences, healthcare providers and community organizations
- Identifying new partnerships and growth opportunities throughout Hamilton and surrounding communities

Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology or a related field
- Registration in good standing with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario
- Comfortable working independently in clients’ homes
- Robust communication and relationship-building skills
- Passion for helping seniors remain active and independent
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel throughout Hamilton, Burlington and surrounding communities
Preferred
- Two or more years of personal training or kinesiology experience
- Experience working with older adults
- Knowledge of fall prevention, active rehabilitation or post-operative exercise
- Experience leading classes, workshops or presentations
- Interest in community outreach, networking and business development

Compensation
- $60 per hour for regular one-to-one sessions
- Separate compensation for eligible assessments, couples’ sessions, presentations and specialized programs
- Flexible schedule based on your availability
