About Our Clinic

Argus Medical Centre Inc. is a busy, fast-paced, 9-physician Family Health Organization (FHO) committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred care across all stages of life. We are seeking a motivated, highly organized, and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our collaborative team for a 1-year maternity leave coverage contract starting November 1, 2026. The successful candidate will be comfortable multitasking, managing competing priorities, and delivering exceptional care while maintaining a positive, professional demeanour.

Responsibilities

- Triage & Assessment: Triage patient concerns in person and via phone, analyze incoming lab and diagnostic imaging results, and conduct thorough patient assessments within the RN scope of practice.
- Clinical Procedures: Administer immunizations, injections, and physician-ordered clinical treatments accurately while monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Chronic Disease & Preventative Care: Actively assist with chronic disease management and preventative care tracking to optimize patient health outcomes.
- Patient Education: Provide clear patient education, health promotion counseling, and post-appointment care instructions to patients and families.
- Digital Documentation: Utilize our Telus PS Suite EMR and Ocean platform for precise,



real-time medical documentation, messaging, and secure case tracking.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with our existing RN team, MD partners, and administrative staff to ensure a seamless, efficient clinical flow.
- Infection Control: Maintain absolute compliance with healthcare regulations, IPAC guidelines, and internal clinic safety standards.

Qualifications & Experience

- Licensure: Current registration in valuable standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) (Required).
- Professional Alignment: Active membership with the Registered Nurses' Association of Ontario (RNAO) (Required).
- Certifications: Current CPR / BLS certification (Required).
- Clinical Experience: Prior experience in a fast-paced family medicine, primary care, or outpatient clinic setting is highly advantageous.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Telus PS Suite EMR and medical office workflows is strongly preferred.
- Core Skills: Strong time-management, critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills with an ability to thrive in a busy team environment.

Pay: From $38.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
