Join Carefor as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to provide exceptional care to residents in Eastern Ontario. This part-time role emphasizes leadership and patient advocacy within a supportive team. As part of Carefor's Retirement Home Care team, you will be responsible for delivering quality nursing care while mentoring staff in their duties.
Your role includes the assessment of residents’ health, medication administration, and advocating for timely and effective care in line with the College of Nurses of Ontario standards. Help shape a compassionate, quality-focused care setting for seniors and individuals with disabilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of residents' health
- Safely administer medications per established protocols
- Collaborate with and advocate for patients within the care team
- Develop and adjust individualized care plans
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
Requirements:
- RPN Diploma from an accredited institution
- Valid registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- 3-5 years of relevant nursing experience
- CPR and First Aid certification required
- Prior experience in long-term care preferred
