We are a collaborative, multidisciplinary therapy centre with our main location being situated in the heart of Bolton/Caledon, providing assessment and intervention services for children, adolescents, and adults. Our team includes Speech-Language Pathology, ABA Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Psychotherapy, allowing for truly integrated, whole-child support.

We work with a primarily pediatric population, with common areas of focus including ADHD, Autism, learning differences, and associated challenges such as anxiety, OCD, emotional regulation, and behavioral concerns. Our clinic values evidence-based, strengths-based, and neurodiversity-affirming care, with therapy that is engaging, flexible, and individualized care.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO) to join our growing team in the Shelburne area. This role involves providing evidence-based psychotherapy to a primarily pediatric, adolescent, and adult population. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical skills, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for working with neurodiverse youth and their families.

Many of the families we serve are seeking support for concerns commonly associated with neurodevelopmental differences, including:

- Emotional regulation, coping and anxiety management
- Repetitive behaviours and rigidity
- Obsessions, worries, and compulsive behaviours
- Body-focused repetitive behaviours (e.g., skin picking, hair pulling)
- Stress, coping, and daily functioning challenges
- Difficulty with transitions, flexibility, and tolerance for change
- Repetitive behaviours, rigidity, and “stuck” patterns of thinking
- Excessive worries, intrusive thoughts, or reassurance seeking
- Perfectionism, avoidance, and stress-related challenges
- Sensory-related distress and emotional overwhelm

Key Responsibilities

- Provide evidence-based psychotherapy to children,



teenagers and young adults experiencing OCD, anxiety, and related disorders.
- Deliver specialized interventions for anxiety, ADHD/ADD, bullying, time-management challenges, emotional regulation, communication difficulties, and issues of confidence and self-esteem.
- Conduct intake assessments, formulate treatment plans, and provide ongoing therapy.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, physicians, and allied professionals.
- Ability to use multiple modalities in therapy such as talk, play, and art therapy.
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
- Offer care virtually and/or in person, depending on client and clinician preferences.

Qualifications

- Registered and in good standing with the CRPO (required).
- Demonstrated clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and/or adult competence in treating a wide array of client needs including neurodivergence
- Strong clinical judgment, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Interest in working with neurodiverse clients (e.g., Autism, ADHD, Learning Disabilities) is an asset.

Mandatory:

- MUST have access to a reliable personal vehicle and a valid G driver's license as there is limited transportation to the Shelburne area.
- MUST be available evenings during the week (3pm onwards) and Saturdays (hours vary upon client's request).
