Key Responsibilities

- Under the guidance of Research staff, provide assistance for research projects, academic lab activities, and day to day college farm chores as applicable to research project
- Major tasks involve operating agricultural equipment, assist in animal handling, animal health checks and weightings, collecting, storing and transporting samples; all under various research protocols




- Research activities center around following approved protocols for research as well as animal care, animal and human safety and biosecurity
- Other duties include monitoring data

There are up to 4 AUPE Student appointments on the Vermilion campus commencing as soon as possible and ending May 17, 2027. Competition will remain open until suitable candidates are found. All resumes are to be submitted electronically on our website www.Lakelandcollege.ca
