We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Residential Leasing Agent to join our luxury rental lease-up team on a commission-based contract. Duties
- Actively promote and market luxury rental units to prospective tenants through various channels
- Conduct property tours, highlighting unique features and amenities to attract qualified applicants
- Manage lead follow-up, inquiries, and scheduling to ensure a seamless leasing process
- Prepare and review lease agreements, ensuring all documentation complies with company policies and legal standards
- Utilize Yardi property management software for data entry, tracking leads, and maintaining accurate records
- Maintain excellent customer relationships through professional phone etiquette and personalized service
- Coordinate with property management teams to ensure units are ready for move-in and meet quality standards
- Negotiate lease terms with prospective tenants to secure favorable agreements for both parties
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, updating tenant information, and managing correspondence
Experience
- Proven experience in sales, customer service, or property management within a leasing or real estate environment
- Familiarity with Yardi or similar property management software is highly preferred
- Strong office experience with proficiency in data entry, filing systems, and administrative procedures
- Excellent negotiation skills coupled with outstanding phone etiquette and customer relationship management abilities
- Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a plus but not required
- Ability to work independently in a commission-based setting while maintaining high motivation levels
- Previous experience in luxury rental markets or lease-up projects is advantageous
