Position Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and self-motivated Front Store Clerk to join our close-knit team. This role supports the day-to-day operations of our front store, including customer service, cash handling, and inventory management. The ideal candidate takes initiative, works well independently, and genuinely enjoys helping people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate cash register and process customer transactions
- Provide courteous and knowledgeable service to all customers
- Sell lottery tickets and related products
- Maintain front store inventory and stock shelves
- Keep the store clean and well-organized
- Play an active role in selecting and curating products for the front store — we value your input and want you to take pride in what we offer our customers
- Fulfill all other front store responsibilities as required
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Prior retail or customer service experience preferred
- Self-motivated and able to work independently without close supervision
- Takes initiative and looks for ways to contribute beyond assigned tasks
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable using computers and point-of-sale systems
- Detail-oriented and dependable
- Team player with a strong work ethic
- Experience selling lottery products is considered a robust asset
Hours: 32–40 hours per week. Monday to Friday with limited Saturday shifts for coverage as needed. Closed Sundays and statutory holidays.
