Volunteer Role Summary:

The Terrain Park Volunteer supports the daily setup, maintenance and overall safety of the terrain park. This is an opportunity for passionate skiers and snowboarders to contribute to the terrain park community, work alongside the RMR team and help create a safe and enjoyable experience for guests.

Volunteers should be comfortable working outdoors in a mountain environment and be prepared for physically demanding tasks, including snow shoveling and feature maintenance.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

- Assist with the daily maintenance and upkeep of multiple terrain park features.
- Help shovel, move and shape snow as required.
- Help assess and maintain the appropriate difficulty and condition of individual terrain park features.
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of features, signage and fencing.




- Help identify and minimize potential hazards within the terrain park.
- Follow established safety procedures and contribute to a safe environment for fellow volunteers, staff and guests.
- Assist Ski Patrol and other resort departments when required.
- Help maintain a clean, organized and welcoming terrain park and terrain park shack.
- Interact positively with guests by providing accurate information about lifts, runs, facilities, services, operating hours and current events.
- Assist with guest questions or concerns in a courteous and respectful manner.

Required Qualifications and Abilities:

- Previous terrain park experience is an asset, but not required.
- Advanced skiing or snowboarding ability.
- Comfortable being outdoors in changing and challenging weather conditions.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent snow shoveling.
- Strong awareness of safety and willingness to follow established procedures.
- Positive attitude and reliable.

Volunteer Commitment: This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity. Volunteers are expected to contribute reliably to the terrain park team and to follow all applicable safety, operational and resort guidelines. Specific volunteer schedules, commitments and responsibilities may vary depending on operational needs and conditions. A total of 14 volunteer days is required to qualify for a complimentary RMR season pass.
