Union: Saskatchewan Government and General Employees Union Department: Systemic Therapy & Outpatient Services Type: Full time temporary Shift Information: Days Number of Hours per Rotation: In a 3-week rotation: 14 shift(s) of 7.77 hours The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high quality holistic nursing care to oncology patients during their entire cancer care experience including: assessment, intervention, treatment coordination and administration, teaching, counselling, support and follow-up. This position reports to a Site Manager or Provincial Manager within the Care Services Division; Bachelor Degree / Diploma in Nursing Oncology Nursing Certification is an asset Licensed with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS). Ability to interpret detailed information and communicate effectively both orally and in writing.





Human relations skills are required to develop formal relationships of a therapeutic nature to assist others in achieving their short- or long-term goals. Accuracy of fine motor movements required for starting IV lines, giving medications, assisting with medical procedures etc. Competent in the use of computers and Microsoft applications.
