Take on a pivotal role as District Alternative Justice Coordinator with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Sylvan Lake, Alberta. Drive community safety efforts and collaborate with key stakeholders. In this essential role, you will support the Alberta RCMP's Community Safety & Well Being initiatives.
Reporting to the Manager of Strategic Engagement, the focus will be on fostering partnerships that contribute to crime reduction strategies. You will engage with various stakeholders to improve safety outcomes and explore creative approaches to justice in the community. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic partnerships focused on crime reduction
- Engage with local community organizations and government
- Organize and facilitate training and outreach events
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of community programs
- Liaise with law enforcement personnel for seamless coordination
Requirements:
- Minimum secondary school diploma; further education preferred
- Proven background in establishing community partnerships
- Strong communication skills in writing and presenting
- Ability to navigate law enforcement environments
- Obtain necessary RCMP Security Clearance
