We’re looking for an RVT to join our team at a busy specialty rehabilitation clinic in Squamish, BC. We are looking for an experienced RVT who enjoys anesthesia, the unique environment of sports medicine, as well as the balance of administrative work.
Responsibilities
- Anesthesia for TPLOs and other orthopedic surgeries
- Anesthesia for stem cell procedures
- Sedation and monitoring for PRP and orthopedic ultrasounds
- Orthopedic radiographs
- Setup and monitoring of CRIs for chronic pain
- Patient handling and nursing care
- Administrative work and general clinic duties (we all share this!)
Experience and Requirements
- Once familiar with our protocols, competent and confident step in to independently monitor and oversee anesthesia for orthopedic surgeries
- Interested in learning to scrub in to assist with TPLO surgeries
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and educate pet owners.
- Ability to work in a quick-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Current licensure is required
Pay: From $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
