Role Description This full-time, on-site Sales Associate role at AVENCOR Chemicals is based in Burlington, ON.

The Sales

Associate will manage and grow a portfolio of customers by identifying new business opportunities, presenting product solutions, and supporting clients throughout the sales cycle. Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to customer inquiries, preparing quotes, processing orders, and coordinating with internal teams such as logistics and customer service to ensure timely delivery and high-quality service. The role involves maintaining accurate sales records, updating the CRM system, and assisting with sales reports and forecasts.

Associate will also participate in product training, follow industry and safety standards, and collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales targets and support long-term customer relationships.

Qualifications

- Strong sales and customer relationship skills, including experience in outbound and inbound sales, account management, or customer service.
- Knowledge of or interest in chemicals, industrial products,



or related technical fields, with the ability to learn product specifications and applications quickly.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present information clearly, negotiate effectively, and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Organizational and administrative abilities, including accurate data entry, order processing, record keeping, and use of CRM or sales management tools.
- Basic proficiency in business software such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) or equivalent tools.
- Ability to work in office in Burlington, ON, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to safety and regulatory compliance in handling chemical-related information.
- Post-secondary education in business, chemistry, or a related field is an asset; prior experience in B2B or industrial sales is preferred but not required.
