SALES ASSOCIATE

Established in 1949 Pedersen's Event Rentals is a full-service event and party rental company which is still family owned and operated. We provide a large selection of specialty items for special events including table linen and napkins, tableware, glassware, tables and chairs.

We have a full-time position available for a sales associate who will be responsible in assisting clients from planning to production, in small to large scale events. We are located in South Vancouver near Fraser St and Marine Dr. in Vancouver with easy access to public transit.

Hours: 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday

You must be detail oriented, reliable and possess good written and oral communication skills. You must be able to service customers in a polite, friendly and professional manner. Consideration will be given to applicants with event planning and/or catering experience.

You will be responsible for:

- Answer telephones, process phone orders, web orders and email orders
- Explain rental fees and provide information about rented items (operation/description)
- Recommend rental equipment to customers that best meet their needs




- Become familiar with venues and facilities throughout the city. Be aware of any special load in and load out requirements and times
- Be versatile and willing to adapt to the daily changing needs of the business
