Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our luggage and baggage retail team. This role requires a high level of independence, as the associate will most often be working alone in the store and responsible for managing daily operations during their shift. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, maintain store presentation, and assist customers in selecting travel products that best suit their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Open and close the store independently, following company procedures
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide detailed product knowledge on luggage, travel accessories, backpacks, and leather goods
- Recommend products based on customer travel needs and budget
- Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system
- Handle returns, exchanges, and customer inquiries
- Maintain store cleanliness and organized merchandise displays
- Restock shelves and assist with inventory management
- Receive and unpack shipments
- Monitor store security and follow loss prevention procedures while working alone




- Meet or exceed individual sales goals

Qualifications:

- Previous retail or customer service experience required (+1 year)
- Ability to work independently with strong decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while working alone
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Ability to educate customers on merchandise and guide them to the correct purchase
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs (for handling luggage and stock)
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Language Requirement: Fluent in English (required); Spanish / Portuguese preferred
