Duties

- Prepare a variety of fresh sandwiches, salads, and other menu items following established recipes and standards
- Engage with customers in a friendly, positive manner, taking their orders accurately using the POS system (Point of Sale) including Micros POS if applicable
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by adhering to food safety protocols and proper sanitation procedures throughout your shift
- Manage time effectively to ensure quick service during busy periods while maintaining quality standards
- Assist in food handling tasks such as slicing ingredients, assembling sandwiches, and restocking supplies as needed




- Promote upselling opportunities by suggesting add-ons or upgrades to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales

Skills

- Proven experience in food preparation or food service environments, ideally within the restaurant or food industry sector
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling, measuring ingredients, and managing transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices to ensure a protected dining experience for all guests
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours while maintaining quality and speed
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for order processing and payment handling
- Ability to work well within a team environment, demonstrating flexibility and a positive attitude toward serving others
- Experience in serving or cashiering roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
