If you’re planning to work in Childcare or Elementary Schools, our free training and volunteering program provides practical experience working with children while gaining Work Reference, Recommendation letter, and Canadian work experience
Location: Elementary Schools (North Vancouver) this term, and other Metro Vancouver school districts in future terms.
Schedule: Selected weekdays (currently Wed, Thurs) after 2:45 PM, for approximately 1–2 hours.
Ideal for candidates pursuing Teaching Certificate, Educational Assistant (EA), ECEA, ECE, Responsible Adult and Out-of-school care careers.

What You’ll Do
- Assist with supervising children during after-school activities
- Assist the instructor with easy, pre-designed science activities
Schedule
- Period: September, November,December
- Days: Selected weekdays (Currently Wednesdays & Thursdays)
- Time: 1–3 hours between 2:45–5:00 PM, depending on the school
- Location: North Vancouver elementary schools
Requirements
- No experience required
- Good English
- Energetic, punctual & responsible
- Minimum age: 23
