Cosy Cove Campground is a private gated seasonal campground located on Sturgeon Lake approx 45 min from Grande Prairie, AB.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual/couple for the position of caretaker for the 2027 camping season. We offer a secure picturesque environment that includes an onsite residence and fully equipped shop. This is a contract position from May – October (pending weather) that is focused on the daily maintenance and operation of the park and its facilities. This position is highly suited for snowbirds, semi–retired or seasonal winter workers.

Qualifications and Skills

- Safely operate & maintain equipment including lawnmowers, tractors, chainsaws, weed eater, power tools, etc.
- Janitorial services and sanitation duties as required.
- Basic administrative skills ( monthly expense reports and weekly sales summaries)
- Grounds keeping and park maintenance as required




- Tenants relations and enforcement of campground rules
- Provide campground services that include weekly garbage pickup & firewood delivery,
- Spring start-up and fall shut down of parks infrastructure
- Strong customer service and people skills
- Self motivated and energetic

Ultimately an overall sense of pride on how the property looks to our leaseholders and their guests is of utmost importance

Compensation

- Contract negotiable pending experience and skill level – current caretakers available to provide training this fall.
