Looking for a reliable, motivated individual to join our team as a Seasonal Part-Time Oil Spray Technician. Our busy season runs from September through December. This is a fast-paced position that requires someone who is comfortable working efficiently and staying productive in a shop environment.
In this energetic role, you will be responsible for applying protective oil spray treatments to vehicles, helping extend their lifespan and improve performance. This position offers a fantastic prospect to gain hands-on experience in automotive care while working in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare work areas by cleaning and organizing tools and equipment to ensure efficient workflow.
- Safely apply oil spray treatments to vehicles, following established safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
- Inspect vehicles for any pre-existing damage or issues, documenting findings accurately.
- Interact with customers professionally, providing excellent customer service by explaining services and answering questions.
- Maintain cleanliness of work stations and ensure all tools are properly stored after use.
- Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying supervisors when replenishments are needed.
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Taking out garbage and general shop cleanup.
- General shop duties.
- Washing trucks.
- Moving vehicles on and off the hoist.
Requirements
- Must have a valid Drivers License.
- Knowledge and experience using power tools and hand tools.
- Must be reliable and dependable.
- Prior experience with cleaning or automotive-related tasks is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods during shifts.
- Attention to detail to ensure quality application of oil spray treatments.
- Willingness to work flexible schedule, including weekends or peak seasonal periods.
- A proactive attitude with enthusiasm for learning new skills in vehicle maintenance.
