Job Summary

Reporting to the Receiving Lead, the Seasonal Receiving Associate supports the accurate and efficient receipt of incoming seasonal merchandise. This temporary seasonal role focuses on unloading, inspecting, labelling, documenting, and moving products into designated receiving or storage areas while maintaining a safe and organized workspace.

Duties and Responsibilities

Receiving and Inspection

- Receive and unload incoming shipments in a safe and timely manner.

- Compare products and quantities against shipping documents and report discrepancies.

Product Processing:

- Inspect products for visible damage and identify damaged or impaired merchandise.

- Print and apply required stickers, barcodes, and labels accurately.

- Complete receiving records and direct products to the appropriate receiving or storage area.

Organization and Safety

- Keep receiving and storage areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.

- Move, stack, and stage merchandise carefully using safe material-handling practices.





- Follow company procedures, safety requirements, and instructions from the Receiving Lead.

Seasonal Support

- Work with the receiving and retail teams to keep seasonal merchandise moving efficiently.

- Assist with receiving-related tasks during peak periods and changing shipment volumes.

- Perform other receiving-related duties as required.

Qualifications and Skills

- Previous receiving, warehouse, retail stock, or similar experience is an asset

- Ability to accurately follow receiving documents, labels, and instructions

- Solid attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical work

- Ability to stand, bend, reach, and work in a fast-paced receiving setting

- Availability to work a flexible seasonal schedule, including weekends and peak delivery periods
