Job Overview

We are seeking a vigilant, dependable, and professional Security Guard to help protect our clients, property, assets, and personnel in Fort McMurray.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting regular patrols, monitoring the property, documenting incidents, deterring unauthorized activity, and responding appropriately to security and emergency situations.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a protected and secure environment and can work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security threats.
- Monitor the property for suspicious activity, trespassing, theft, property damage, and other security concerns.
- Safeguard clients, personnel, and property against theft, invasion, damage, and unauthorized entry.
- Maintain accurate and detailed daily activity, patrol, and incident reports.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to security incidents and emergencies.
- Contact and cooperate with law enforcement, emergency services, or other authorities when required.




- Enforce site security policies and procedures.
- Maintain a professional and visible security presence at all times.
- Communicate effectively with clients, visitors, team members, and emergency responders.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid Alberta Security License required.
- Applicant must have reliable access to a vehicle/car.
- Mobile phone capable of being used for safety and emergency communication.
- Previous security, surveillance, or related experience is an asset.
- Strong observation and situational-awareness skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and decisive during emergencies.
- Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently and follow established security procedures.
