Security Supervisor

What You’ll Do

- Provide security coverage to help maintain a safe, secure setting for guests and staff
- Monitor and respond to incidents, concerns, and unusual activity in a timely, professional manner
- Support day-to-day security operations, including patrols and risk awareness throughout the property
- Communicate clearly with hotel leadership and relevant team members to ensure consistent follow-through
- Contribute to a positive guest experience by staying visible, approachable, and solutions-focused
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation as required

What We’re Looking For

- Valid BC Security Workers License
- Relevant security experience and confidence working in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Strong communication skills with a calm, professional approach to conflict resolution
- Reliability, good judgment,



and a strong sense of responsibility
- Ability to work independently while staying connected with the team

REQUIREMENTS

- - Valid BC Security Workers License
- Serving it Right
- Basic First Aid (OFA 1)
- Flexible availability including afternoons, evenings (Must be available weekends)
- 2 years of related experience
- The ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Conduct patrols of various areas
- Knowledge of security protocol and procedures
- Professional approach to the role; acting in a disciplined, honest and ethical manner
- Possess sound judgement and decision-making skills, with a ‘hands on’ approach to problem solving; strong conflict resolution skills required
- A calm demeanor
- Possess strong knowledge of security procedures
- Strong observation and communication skills
- Proficient in the English language (verbal & written)
