Duties
- Manage and oversee all bookkeeping activities using leading accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero to ensure precise financial data entry and maintenance.
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to guarantee accuracy and identify discrepancies promptly.
- Conduct detailed account analysis to monitor financial health and support decision-making processes.
- Prepare and process payroll, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and timely payments.
- Maintain organized records of invoices, receipts, and other financial documents for audit readiness.
- Assist with budgeting processes by tracking expenses and revenue streams to support financial planning.
- Collaborate with auditors during audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of account activities.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Senior Bookkeeper with a strong background in accounting principles and practices.
- Extensive hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and account analysis.
- Knowledge of payroll processing procedures and compliance requirements.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping best practices within diverse industries.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Prior experience supporting budgeting activities is highly desirable.
