Small, progressive, well established Geomatics/Civil Engineering Services Firm located in Lethbridge, Alberta.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Editing of field collected survey data using Trimble Business Centre

· Preparation of Existing Conditions Site Plans from Surveyed Data using Autocad Civil 3D

· Data Preparation for Survey Field Crews

· Volume/Quantity Calculations

· 3D Model Creation for GNSS controlled Machines

· Check drawing conformity to internal and client specific requirements

· Participation and assistance with maintaining our internal office data management system

· Ability to work as needed on a Survey Field Crew

Job Skill Requirements

· Possess a Diploma in Engineering Design and Drafting Technology, Civil Engineering Technology or Geomatics Technology

· Experienced with processing data using survey specific software – Trimble Business Centre preferred

· Experienced with Design and Drafting of Municipal / Commercial / Industrial Projects, 5+ years of experience.

· Proficient with AutoCad Civil 3D, AutoCad Map and AutoCad

· Membership in ASET or ASSMT considered an asset





· Possess Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Be Comfortable with outdoor work in most weather conditions as needed (survey assistant)

· Possess a Valid Class 5 Drivers License (Drivers Abstract may be required)

· Attentive to Detail

· Be a Team Player, with an enthusiastic attitude
