We are looking for a Senior Developer / Senior Designer with strong hands-on experience in Spark, Scala, and Java to support enterprise-scale data processing and reporting initiatives within the Capital Markets and Liquidity Reporting domain. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in big data technologies and a solid understanding of banking and financial services.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support scalable applications using Spark, Scala, and Java.
- Build and optimize large-scale data processing solutions on Hadoop platforms.
- Develop and maintain data models and applications using Cassandra.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to deliver Liquidity Reporting and Capital Markets solutions.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical designs.
- Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize application efficiency.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and production support activities.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and project teams.
Required Skills
- Solid experience with Spark and Scala development.
- Hands-on experience in Liquidity Reporting or Capital Markets.
- Expertise in Java, Hadoop, and Cassandra.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Experience working in Banking/Financial Services environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise data platforms and distributed systems.
- Exposure to regulatory reporting and risk management initiatives.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
