First Nations Health Authority is expanding and modernizing its cloud and operational capabilities. This role will help strengthen the reliability, security, and scalability of our cloud environments supporting critical health services for communities across BC.
Title: Senior IT Cloud Specialist
Salary: $102,397 - $120,467 - $138,538 per year (pay range explained below)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours, 8:00am- 4:00pm (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri)
Location: Coast Salish Territories: Metro Vancouver: Alberni office – Hybrid (Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA’s flex work policy). Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway in Spring 2027.
About The Role As Senior IT Cloud Specialist, you will be helping FNHA build a holistic cloud and application strategy,
working with the teams in IMIT to deliver the cloud infrastructure and support needed to move the organization into the cloud. You will provide technical leadership during the design, build, and configuration, implementation and maintenance phases of major cloud technologies and challenged to learn and adapt to cloud technologies for a rapidly evolving product and service landscape including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and network and security related solutions.
About You To be successful in this role you will have-
Education & Occupational Certification, Experience (REQUIRED)
- A degree in Computer Sciences or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Microsoft Azure Certifications
- Cisco Certifications
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation
- Minimum 8 years’ experience creating and managing public and private cloud environments
- Experience with cloud migrations and modernization efforts
Knowledge and Ability
- Expert Knowledge of ServiceNow a plus
- Knowledge of MS Office applications
- Must be highly organized and have attention to detail
- Ability to liaise with external vendors

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.
Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.
The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
