The client is seeking a Senior Business & Change Management Analyst to support complex business, technology, process improvement, and organizational change initiatives. The role is approximately 60% Business Analysis and 40% Change Management, although the allocation may vary depending on project requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, senior leadership, project managers, technical teams, and external partners to understand business needs, improve processes, define requirements, support technology implementations, and ensure successful adoption of organizational changes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business analysis and project delivery activities from initiation through implementation and post-deployment stabilization.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews, discovery sessions, workshops, and business needs assessments.
- Gather, analyze, document, and validate business, functional, and technical requirements.
- Develop business cases, process maps, user stories, use cases, and project documentation.
- Analyze and re-engineer business processes to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and service delivery.
- Support the development, enhancement, testing, implementation, and maintenance of complex IT applications and systems.
- Facilitate UAT, business readiness assessments, and implementation activities.
- Develop and execute organizational change management strategies and plans.
- Conduct stakeholder analysis, change impact assessments, and organizational readiness assessments.
- Develop communication, engagement, training, coaching, and resistance-management plans.
- Support leaders and stakeholders in managing resistance and driving adoption.
- Monitor solution adoption, utilization, and proficiency and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Support project governance, risk/issue management, planning, and coordination.
- Prepare and present recommendations, options, and implementation approaches to senior leadership.
Must-Haves
- University degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Public Administration, Organizational Development, Change Management, Information Systems, or related discipline.
- 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in Business Analysis, Change Management, Project Delivery, Process Improvement, or related areas.
- Certified Business Analyst (IIBA) or equivalent.
- Recognized Change Management certification, such as Prosci, ACMP, CMI, or APMG.
- 10+ years of experience developing integrated project/implementation plans.
- 5+ years of experience supporting clients with technology, process, and organizational change initiatives.
- 5+ years of project management/project delivery experience.
- 5+ years of experience developing project documentation for diverse initiatives.
- 5+ years of stakeholder management experience,
including collaboration with external stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- 5+ years of experience with Agile, Waterfall, and/or Hybrid methodologies.
- 5+ years of experience gathering and analyzing complex business requirements.
- 5+ years of experience working with senior leadership to define project scope, goals, objectives, and deliverables.
- 5+ years of project governance experience.
- 5+ years of experience as a Change Manager on large, complex custom software/technology implementations.
- Experience with data integration between clinical applications.
- Experience understanding complex business questions and translating them into appropriate solutions.
Nice-to-Haves
- Active PMP certification or equivalent.
- Active Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification.
- Prosci ADKAR, ACMP, Kotter, or other recognized change management methodology experience.
- Business process mapping, process engineering, and process re-engineering experience.
- Value Stream Mapping experience.
