We're hiring a Senior Legal Assistant for our real estate and finance practice here at Yaletown Law, and I'm hoping to find someone really valuable.
We need someone who can take a real estate file and run with it from start to finish, residential and commercial, buys and sells, without needing much hand-holding. If you've also worked on private lending and financing files, even better, because that's a big part of the work.
The ideal person has been doing this a while (five years or so), knows their way around conveyancing and the LTSA, stays calm when three files are all completing in the same week, and catches the little things before they become big things. Comfortable in Office 365, and if you've used conveyancing software like Goveyance, Conveyancer or eConveyance, that's a plus.
