Our client, a major institutional Asset Manager, is currently undergoing a project to improve and automate its reporting processes. As a result, they are looking for a Senior Power BI Reporting Analyst for an initial 3-month contract , with potential for extension as the project progresses and ongoing reporting requirements evolve.

This is an in-office role, 4 days per week.

As the Senior Power BI Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and automating management and investment reporting using Power BI and Microsoft Copilot . You will work with data from multiple financial and operational sources, ensuring information is accurately extracted, transformed, validated, reconciled, and presented through clear and effective reports and dashboards.

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, translate business needs into Power BI reports and dashboards, validate reporting outputs, and identify opportunities to automate and improve existing manual reporting processes.

Key responsibilities will include

- Develop and enhance Power BI reports and dashboards for management and investment reporting.
- Extract, transform, validate, and reconcile data from multiple sources.
- Integrate data from various financial and operational systems into Power BI.
- Work directly with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective reporting solutions.




- Leverage Microsoft Copilot and other AI capabilities to improve report development, data analysis, content generation, and reporting efficiency.
- Perform testing and validation of reports to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes and improve reporting efficiency.
- Support ongoing reporting requirements and make enhancements based on business needs.

To be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone with:
- Strong hands-on experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards .
- Strong report writing and reporting development experience.
- Experience working with multiple data sources and integrating data into Power BI.
- Strong understanding of data extraction, transformation, validation, and reconciliation .
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot , particularly for reporting, data analysis, or content generation.
- Experience working with financial, investment, or operational reporting is highly preferred.
- Solid analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced project environment.
