We are looking for a Senior Sales Manager who is ready to take ownership of a Sales department and bring structure, accountability, communication, and leadership to the team.

This is a hands-on, in-house management role. This is not a traditional road-based sales position. The successful candidate will spend the majority of their time on-site, working directly with the Sales team and the rest of the organization to ensure the department operates effectively and consistently.

You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day function of the Sales department, including team performance, hiring, accountability, KPIs, processes, communication, and coordination with other departments.

What You'll Own

- Lead and manage the Sales team and Key Account Managers
- Set, monitor, and drive KPIs and accountability
- Hire, onboard, coach, and develop Sales employees
- Address performance issues and ensure expectations are met
- Bring structure and consistency to Sales processes
- Ensure customer and account responsibilities are followed through
- Act as the bridge between Sales and the rest of the Company




- Work with other departments to resolve issues and keep operations moving
- Take ownership of Sales department performance and day-to-day execution

What We're Looking For

- 5+ years of Sales Management experience
- Experience managing Key Account Managers
- Food industry experience required
- Food manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Bakery / baked-goods experience is a major asset
- Solid experience with KPIs, performance management, and team accountability
- Confident managing different personalities and handling difficult conversations
- Strong judgment, organization, and communication skills
- Someone who takes ownership and gets involved rather than simply delegating
